Yesterday 

This was nothing but a game I'd play 

Now I'm looking at a four year stay

For what I did one Stormy day

Suddenly

I'm repeating that I'm not guilty

There's a Sheriff hanging over me

Can't make a move, not suddenly

So I had to go it's their show

That's all I'll say 

I've done nothing wrong

Don't belong in court today

Yesterday

Loved a few who came along my way

Now Mar-a-Lago is my hideaway

Oh what became of yesterday
