(“Jannik Sinner accepts three-month WADA ban from tennis after anti-doping violation.")
My son has often advised that one's name can have marked influence on the path one takes in life. For instance, a person called Dennis would have a statistically higher probability than a Sam or a Mary of becoming a dentist. While this may be more apocryphal than fact, more old wives’ tale than truth, at least for today one person's wrongs, though apparently wholly unintentional, has seemed to validate that theory.
Jannik Sinner, the number one ranked male tennis player on the planet, has been temporarily sidelined from his sport for, well, sinning.
And while a single example does not provide irrefutable proof, it does make one wonder.
As a corollary, I would warn you to thoroughly check your pockets after being in my presence.
Respectfully yours,
Robert
