Elon Musk asked Peter Gibbons "What did you do last week" at work:

"I generally come in at least 15 minutes late. I use the side door, that way Lumbergh can't see me. After that I just sorta space out for about an hour. I just stare at my desk but it looks like I'm working. I normally do that for about an hour after lunch too. I'd say in a given week I only do about 15 minutes of real actual work...The thing is, it's not that I'm lazy. It's just that I don't care."

In case you were uncertain, this was not the response from an employee of the Federal Government but from a disgruntled character in the movie "Office Space."

But Mr. Musk would have you believe this to be the dark truth he expects to uncover as he goes about his indiscriminate slash and burn tour of our government agencies.

Trial by firing. Survival of the suck ups the theme of the day. Mr. Gibbons would definitely not survive this purge.

PS - MY SUGGESTION IS THAT ALL FEDERAL EMPLOYEES WHO FIND THE DEMAND OF MR. MUSK REPUGNANT REPLY WITH PETER GIBBONS STATEMENT AS THEIR OWN - A MILLION VOICES AS ONE
