'Twas The Night Before Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas
Dreams dance in our heads
Thoughts of won ton soup and egg rolls
Not Santa or his sled
There are no presents waiting
No stockings hung with care
St. Nick doesn't wander here
We wait for Chinese fare
Come noodles, come white rice
Come Peking duck well priced
Come chop sticks, come soy sauce
And a kind of beef cooked twice
We gather round our table
Tell tales of Christmas past
As we recall with bellies full
Our annual repast
And while Santa has not come
No sugar plums in our head
A fortune cookie ends our feast
And then we're off to bed
So let us wave to Santa
As he vanishes from sight
And ask if he needs Chinese food
To get him through the night
