 The Republican party is on a scavenger hunt. Looking for a verdict in search of a charge. Joe Biden, guilty of nothing in particular. 

Was there ever a more obvious game of tit for tat? But while Donald Trump has spent a lifetime scanning the horizon for the next scam, and the four years of his presidency perfecting his skills at destroying the very fabric of our democracy, Joe Biden has been of continued service to our country throughout the decades. The anti-Trump, who has survived terrible personal tragedies and devoted his entire career to protecting the welfare of others.

So please let us not be compelled to suffer the insufferable, to watch an actual witch hunt unfold in slow motion.

But we know how this game is played and the Republicans are certain to "trump" up some alleged wrong committed by Mr. Biden to appease the angry mob of right wingers calling for the President's head. Or at least those itching to call it a draw between 45 and 46. Two wrongs (ok, 91 wrongs and a manufactured 1) making everything even steven.

Only the math, logic and facts fail in this equation. But if we turn off our brains and squint just so, this all makes perfect sense.
