The Heart of Darkness Indictment

This is the heart of darkness indictment. If the payment to Stormy Daniels was made to calm the political waters and the documents he refused to hand over was a demonstration of childlike petulance, this one was neither an act of stupidity, nor of petty defiance. 

This was intentional and meant to demonstrate that one man was stronger, more powerful than the system. This was done with deliberation and malice aforethought. This was done to prove a point.

And so now there are three indictments, with a fourth waiting in the wings in Georgia. But if Mr. Trump should ever suffer the legal consequences for his transgressions, let this be his Waterloo. If history must choose, let Mr. Trump's attempts to destroy the very fabric of our government be what he carries with him to his grave and beyond.

And God save us all if he walks away from this one.
