The Debate

What I witnessed were scenes of an angry man being pinned against the ropes by his years of self absorption, by his lies, by his bromance with dictators and autocrats, by his lifetime of aberrant behavior, unable to distance himself from the overturning of Roe, taken to task by a candidate ready, willing and able to cut him down to size while elevating her own stature and advancing her vision for this country. This clearly was not Biden redux for the Dems.

And to make a bad evening worse for Donald Trump, just after the debate concluded, a childless cat lady gave her unequivocal endorsement to Kamala Harris. And if in fact the race goes to the swift(ies) then Mr. Trump should start making plans for golf games in Florida for the next four years.

While Kamala Harris may not have won the presidency this evening, she sure as heck didn't hurt her chances. 

And the sound you hear is Democrats breathing a large sigh of relief watching Donald Trump get smaller by the minute. The ghost of debate past now firmly in the rear view mirror.
