So Mr. Trump who awakens every morning looking for ways to demean, diminish, to verbally destroy, now accuses the Dems of being the ones stirring the pot.

The man, who from the moment he descended that escalator in 2015 has used the most vicious, vituperative language, turning immigrants into target practice for his venom, political opponents and even his own Vice President into fodder for his malice aforethought, who has been nothing but an incendiary device for hatred, now demands civility from others, insisting they are the catalyst for what ails us. Really?

He has intentionally caused endless suffering in others and is directly responsible for placing many lives in danger with his myriad imagined grievances, with the dystopia he has created in the head of the millions who treat his every fiction as truth.

Violence aimed at public figures is unfortunately a long established reality. And his unceasingly bringing this nation to a boil, not any imagined insult by Dems, has undoubtedly increased the likelihood of his being placed directly in the cross hairs.

While I am sorry for his recent troubles, it is Mr. Trump who owes those who have been the subject of his lies, his allegations and insinuations an apology. For many reside in a living Hell, each day spent in fear of the far too real consequences of his malignant behavior.

Sticks and stones. And Donald Trump.
