("Trump Officials Consider Suspending Habeus Corpus for Detained Migrants")
Stephen Miller is right.
The Writ of Habeus Corpus should now be suspended. This fundamental Constitutional protection may only be halted during the most extreme times, moments when we are under attack, when invasion is upon us. Today, our condition mandates we once again take this extraordinary step.
For we are under siege. Our enemy swarming, relentless, omnipresent. We are in a state of war.
But Mr. Miller, while your point is very well taken, I would suggest it is slightly misdirected.
For it is you who is a chief architect of our intended self destruction. While you may have been spewing out your comments at those immigrants you hunt down with your special brand of venom, those who you seek to banish from our midst as a scourge upon us all, your gaze should instead be fixed on your own mirror.
I would rather we round you up along with others like you who hold power and are of similar mind. It is you and your co-conspirators who should be seated on the next big, beautiful plane out of the United States.
No writ of Habeus Corpus, no right to be heard, no capacity to plead your case. Guilty as not charged. Guilty by irrebuttable presumption.
For we are in the most consequential struggle of our lives, and we must take extraordinary measures to thrust out the vermin in our midst. To remove them without requirement that we undertake the hard work to show cause for our actions. To banish them now and forever because, well because we say so.
I sincerely thank you Mr. Miller for your most astute observation and courageous proclamation.
I trust you will have a pleasant journey to your final destination.
Please run for Congress.
Please make sure they’re seated in steerage, for the most uncomfortable, inhuman experience possible.
