("Trump Signs Three Executive Orders, Addressing Immigration and Policing")
Sanctuary much.
Donald Trump is attempting to perform surgery on various cities in America, removing both their brain and their heart. Oh, and their spine as well, for good measure.
If they will not act as the hunter, capturing those clearly destroying the essential fabric of our society, then they will be the hunted themselves. These places with the sheer audacity, the unmitigated gall to disregard the mandate of this President to remove the vermin from our midst, to act as his agents for preservation of our very way of life.
Donald Trump has a serious love affair going on with his latest mistress, the executive order ("E.O.") He has littered the streets with seemingly thousands of E.O. directives, remaking the universe with every stroke of his very fancy signature.
Damn the logic, screw the morality and who the Hell cares about the constitutionality. Donald Trump has announced we are at war with virtually everyone (with a special seat at the table reserved for immigrants) and when we are at war there are no rules except one: there are no rules.
And when those ordered do not merely say sanctuary much and do as told, well then there will be Hell to pay. As if the exorbitant price of complying with his E.O.'s are not the definition of Hell itself.
THE END, BUT NOT THE CONCLUSION OF THIS POST
Thank God we finally have a rational Executive Order. Because we all know the magnitude of the danger to this nation if every truck driver on the road can't both read and write English.
I mean I am scared to death every time an 18 wheeler passes me on the road because I well know the driver is thinking (in a foreign tongue) "I have no idea where I am going because my English is pretty damn shaky."
Forget the drunk driver or the one distracted by a cell phone. Disregard that guy who insists on going 90 miles an hour and swerving in and out of the lanes. And don't fret about that older person who should have had their license taken away years ago but insists they are good to go despite every indication to the contrary. No, no a thousand times no. Our roads will be infinitely safer if only we get the keys out of the hands of that most horrifying, terrifying menace: the immigrant.
Those caught violating this order will be "taken out of service." In Mr. Trump's America, that certainly has ominous overtones.
Do the words El Salvador ring a bell?

Well said, my friend.
