("Biden Has Something He'd Like to Tell You"- The Conversation)
We do know what we don't know. Because we don't know anything for certain about tomorrow, let alone November 2023. The economy may tank or soar, the conflict in Ukraine may be history or still pulsating, Donald Trump may be a multiple felon or an "I told you so" finger and tongue wagging Teflon coated liar. He could be the Republican nominee or just a former star of The Apprentice. So it is far too soon to play Nostradamus.
But the one undeniable reality is that Joseph Robinette Biden will be on the very wrong side of 80 come election day. And working with this fact alone makes us Dems fidgety. He will very likely inform the nation this week that he deserves four more and then do some one arm push ups and recite a tongue twister or two to convince us he is up to the task. I predict (sorry about that) there will be no serious challengers on his side of the ledger.
So our assignment will be to stop our hand wringing and convince the uncertain that the recent opinion piece in your publication, "How 90 Became the New 60", is accurate, and thus President Biden will still be a kid at the conclusion of his second term.
Or to almost quote former President Reagan, Joe Biden's age and experience should not be held against him.
Great piece
