NBC News and the Hiring of Ronald McDonald

I would rather they had hired Ronald McDonald.

NBC entering the clown car race with the inclusion of Ronna McDaniel on their team. Bothsiderism taking the network down a path to journalistic Hell. This is not just another  conservative voice  ("conservative" being code for something far more sinister) being brought into the fold but sleeping with the enemy.

In her long time role she helped elevate Donald Trump, gave credence to the worst of his lies, led the attack on those who criticized or challenged the most brazenly outrageous assertions of her party and resided for many years far more than knee deep in the mud.

So what could she now add to the coverage of this year's election? Clarification of how to drive people crazy? The secrets of what it takes to abandon logic, reason, morality and veracity in pursuit of the brass ring?

Or maybe this strategy is a keep your friends close and those like Ronna McDaniel closer. If so, my answer is thanks but no thanks.

But oh by the way Ronna, can I get that Big Mac with extra pickles? And please be careful not to let the door hit you on the way out.
