It is an important  day, even if it has little impact on the finances of Mr. Trump, or on those who will forever believe he walks on water.

The aura of invincibility, his "I could shoot someone in broad daylight" mantra that has largely proven accurate through all of his life, even through two impeachments, even with 

the multiple pending investigations bearing down, has now been badly damaged.

If E. Jean Carroll can convince a jury that this Defendant can be held accountable, then who is to suggest that criminal prosecutions are not capable of reaching the same results.

If those who find every aspect of Donald Trump reprehensible were recently buoyed by his criminal indictment in the Stormy Daniels matter, today brings a sense of satisfaction.

And more than a little relief that the wheels of justice still turn, even as to Mr. Trump.
