("The Plot Trump Lost")
How do you kill an idea?
Donald Trump has been reporting to us of a rigged election even before it happened, hedging his bet on himself by informing us in the days and months PRIOR TO that November that the only way he would lose in 2020 was if "they" cheated.
So how does one unprove a lie that has been repeated so many times it has its own life, as vivid and real as a thousand truths. With its own beating heart. It has sustained and nourished not only Mr. Trump but the many million who follow this illusion wherever it leads. It is a magic trick gone horribly wrong.
You cannot destroy it by depriving it of oxygen nor by shining a light on all its warts. Ignore it or expose it, each seeming at one's own peril.
You cannot see an idea, you cannot touch it. But it can move mountains, change the course of rivers and alter the destiny of nations.
An idea is the most powerful weapon at our disposal. And in the wrong hands it can lead to untold, unfathomable destruction. This one already has.
