Homeless Bound (a Reimagined Anthem for the Homeless) (please read in conjunction with my very recent post)
I'm sitting in a railway station
With no ticket and no destination
On the floor, this one night standÂ
Possessions fitting in my hand
And there's no stop, got no plan
For now I am homeless man
Homeward bound, I'll never be
Homeward bound
Home, there is no trace
Home, all hopes erased
Home, there's no such place
A never land for me
Everyday is an endless scream
Of broken heart and broken dreams
And each face looking down on me
With vacant eyes they just can't see
To every stranger I'll just be
Homeless for eternity
Homeward bound, I'll never be
Homeward bound
Home, there is no trace
Home, all hopes erased
Home, there's no such place
A never land for me
Tonight, I'll lay my head to rest
With silent tears my company
I've got no thoughts to comfort me
The silence brings me no relief
I'm empty now, it's hard to sleep
An endless road is all I see
Homeward bound, I'll never be
Homeward bound
Home, there is no trace
Home, all hopes erased
Home, there's no such place
A never land for me
Never land for me
Never will I see
