Freedom

His book is called "The Courage to be Free." 

Except if it involves your body, your education, your definition of self, your voice as a journalist or as Mickey Mouse.

This is the Ron DeSantis vision of freedom, where you must fall in line, live as he dictates, speak as he directs, be as he would define you.

His is merely a land of unbridled Second Amendment freedoms, even as the the echoes of Parkland and Pulse still reverberate.

This is not courage but a constellation of wrongs. This is not freedom but a decimation of  rights. This is not a world of compassion and caring but cruelty and hatred.

Ron DeSantis is not promising the American dream, only its worst nightmare.
