In democracy they learn addition
In fascism they study subtraction
In democracy they recognize differences
In fascism they demonize difference
In democracy they live by truths
In fascism they live in fear
In democracy there is trust
In fascism there is betrayal
Democracy spreads its wings
Fascism breaks our spirits
Democracy lives in daylight
Fascism lurks in the shadows
