Donald Trump will never leave office if he is elected President this November. For better or worse, in sickness or in health, 'til death do us part. Namely mine, if he has any say in it. A bad marriage without a parachute.
2020 was but a small preview of coming attractions. I mean this guy has not accepted no for an answer when ringing the bell to get into 1600 for over three years now. What in the name of sanity clause makes you think he will kiss the ring of someone else in January of 2029 if he has had four more years to find the comfiest chair for the Oval Office?
The 22nd Amendment, passed in response to the four terms of FDR, stands no chance of persuading Donny that too much is enough. If things are going swimmingly, at least from his elevation, he will inform us that he alone could, can and will continue to make America great again. If matters are disintegrating he will say that peril lurks and now is not the moment to change horses. Once the danger passes, he will gladly hand the reins over. But not now. Definitely not now.
And then what? Do the Proud Boys gather at the Capitol once more to stop Congress from certifying the results of November, 2028? Is Vice President Noem's life in danger? Is martial law to be our permanent state of being?
Think this could never happen? Did you think a twice impeached, four times indicted, sexual abuser, fraudster, huckster, grifter, could be the chosen one of his party, a near God to half this country? Did you believe that America would ever buy in such bulk into a con man's con?
This is a man with a boundless ego and a disrespect without end for anyone and anything that contradicts his vision of himself. Mount Rushmore will not have the images of four Presidents cut into its stone but merely one when Donny is done with it.
Understand that Donny will undoubtedly commit binders full of indictable offenses while parading around the universe in his second term. Which, of course, he cannot be tried for as long as he remains on the throne.
Wake up and smell democracy burning. For, mark my words, Donald Trump, like Vladimir Putin, intends to grasp the brass ring and hold onto it in his unusually small hands from here to eternity should he head back to DC in his golden chariot after this November. Elected not for one term as President, but as King, Emperor and Dictator.
Until his last breath.
And democracy's.
Trump's personal ineptitude is not the only threat to our democracy. If he is elected, innumerable partisan misfits will be appointed to all echelons of our government. Staffing the government has always been the goal of the Heritage Foundation. These people will set our country back for decades. --RE
