Raise your hand if you care whether Chris Christie drops out of the race for the Republican Party nomination sooner rather than later. Ok, Chris, you can put your hand down. Anybody else? Anybody?

Mr. Christie is a dead man walking. He was last the "it" boy when dinosaurs and Rudy Giuliani roamed the earth. His speaking the truth about Donald may gain him a knowing nod or two from Democrats but he is so irrelevant to this process that Trumpers can barely muster the energy to hate him.

Step aside for Nikki Haley? Really? For the good of the party? Double really?

Raise your hand if you will be watching the Republican debate tomorrow. And if Mr. Christie's presence or absence (quick, without looking it up, did he qualify to cast aspersions on this stage) was the determinative factor. Chris, put your hand down. Anybody else? Anybody?
