All Rise

In a sport overloaded with statistics, his numbers tilted the machine for much of the season. His alphabet soup RBI, AVG, OBG, SLG and OPS totals were NUTS. Too good to be true. That is, unless you were Aaron Judge.

It is a harsh and sad reality that this post-season will tarnish what he accomplished until then. With the able assistance of Mr. Soto, Batman and Batman willed their team to first place in the division. For several months, daring to throw a pitch over the plate to the larger than life Mr. Judge was an act of sheer hardball lunacy.

I have Yankee pinstripes coursing through my veins and have spent the better part of seven decades worshipping at the altar of these my baseball gods. Never have I witnessed a Bomber dominate as Aaron Judge did through the heart of this summer, not even in his unforgettable 62 home run season. 

Unanimous MVP? In 2024 there was no other American Leaguer even playing the same game. All rise. Here comes the Judge.
