Have we silenced Alex Jones, taken away all his toys, emasculated him? 

We have learned the painful reality of how easily holes can puncture our understanding of the foundational principles of a democracy. Truth and morality cast aside as useless shackles. Hatred a virtue not a vice. Compassion a waste of time and energy.

And putting the genie back in the bottle? As likely as Donald Trump taking a vow of silence.We are living in the time of disease and variants. While one strain of Covid is being addressed by vaccine, another arrives to take its place.

Alex Jones is a variant. And this disease will not one day dry up and blow away, like a miracle. Our society is infected, the illness endemic. And while it may not be terminal, it is permanent.

The next Alex Jones is already in our midst.
